Invisalign®

Invisalign® treatment is an advanced orthodontic system that uses comfortable, clear plastic aligners to move your teeth into the correct position.

Invisalign® treatment uses sophisticated 3-D oral scanning to map your teeth accurately and help create a graduated series of aligners to shift your teeth over time into their desired position gently.

FAQs

  • Our office is located in Scottsdale, convenient to Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Glendale. We welcome all local residents, as well as patients from many parts of the country who are vacationing or wintering in Arizona.

  • We recommend that you visit your dentist at least twice a year for regular check-ups and cleanings. During these visits, your dentist will check for any signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues and provide recommendations on how to keep your smile healthy. Additionally, if any problems are found, your dentist can provide the necessary treatments. If you have any specific concerns about your oral health, you should schedule additional visits to your dentist to discuss them. Patients with gum disease may need to see the dentist more often for focused periodontal care.

  • The best toothbrush is the one you use correctly and consistently. No matter which toothbrush you use, brush for at least two minutes morning at night, covering all tooth and gum surfaces. Use fluoride toothpaste and a fluoride mouth rinse. Our hygienist will show you the best way to brush your teeth and keep your smile beautiful and bright.

  • Many patients feel they do not have time to floss their teeth, but this simple daily activity is essential to keep their gums healthy. Removing plaque and food particles between the teeth prevents decay and lowers gum disease chances. If you find flossing difficult, try using a pre-threaded floss pick instead of a plain spool of floss. Our experienced hygienist can help you find the most effective methods to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

  • Yes, dental X-rays are safe for nearly all patients. Today's digital X-rays use only a fraction of the radiation used by the film X-rays you remember from the past. Your hygienist will provide you with a protective apron. Digital X-rays expose patients to between 80-90% less radiation than traditional X-rays and are safe for adults and children. A standard X-ray to check for cavities is about 0.001 mSv of radiation or the equivalent of standing in normal sunlight for less than 3 hours.
